Cedar Mills Classical Riding School accepts a limited number of working students each year. Students will have the opportunity to work with the youngest of horses up to learning the haute école and airs above the ground. Those who qualify will live with the Grelo family and take part in all the daily work and activities at the School. This opportunity is truly an immersion into life here at Cedar Mills and a rare experience to work and learn under Master Frank Grelo.

Dedicated and hardworking students will be considered for the Programme. Applicants must already possess solid experience with horses and riding. They must be physically and mentally apt for work, which includes: feeding of horses, turn-out of stallions, grooming, tacking, riding and stall cleaning. Preference will be given to those who are prepared to stay for a minimum of three months and applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Working students accepted will be invited for a trial period of up to 10 days. During this time the Student should be prepared to incur costs for lodging and lessons. Once the trial is completed it will be decided whether the student will be accepted to continue her/his stay with us.
