| Cedar Mills Classical
Riding School accepts a limited number of working students
each year. Students will have the opportunity to work with
the youngest of horses up to learning the haute école
and airs above the ground. Those who qualify will live with
the Grelo family and take part in all the daily work and activities
at the School. This opportunity is truly an immersion into
life here at Cedar Mills and a rare experience to work and
learn under Master Frank Grelo.
Dedicated and hardworking students will be considered for
the Programme. Applicants must already possess solid experience
with horses and riding.They must be physically and mentally
apt for work, which includes: feeding of horses, turn-out
of stallions, grooming, tacking, riding and stall cleaning.
Preference will be given to those who are prepared to stay
for a minimum of three months and applicants must be at least
18 years of age.
Working students accepted will be invited for a trial period
of up to 10 days. During this time the Student should be prepared
to incur costs for lodging and lessons. Once the trial is
completed it will be decided whether the student will be accepted
to continue her/his stay with us.
